The Awakening

Desert Rose Music, leaders in spiritual world music, has released its 7th album, The Awakening. The music is based on the highly successful Awakening Concerts which Desert Rose has been performing to packed audiences since 2008. Hailed by critics as a fresh new sound, the album combines elements of classical music with diverse spiritual prayers and chants, creating a musical journey that truly reflects the beauty of diversity and elevating the listener to a place of peace and musical bliss.

The CD includes the hit song "Who is your God" which is a multilingual song including English, Arabic and Hebrew. Another popular song is "Love is our Mother", inspired by a poem of Persian poet, philosopher and Sufi, Jalal ud-din Rumi. There are 11 tracks, each one a unique rendition of world music that promises to transcend the listener to a place of tranquillity and musical bliss.
