Together with co-lyricist, lead vocalist and life partner, Yusuf Ganief, the duo makes up the core of the performing group, Desert Rose. The Awakening
 Desert Rose Music, leaders in spiritual world music, has released its 7th album, The Awakening. The music is based on the highly successful Awakening Concerts which Desert Rose has been performing to packed audiences since 2008. The CD includes the hit song "Who is your God" which is a multilingual song including English, Arabic and Hebrew. Another popular song is "Love is our Mother", inspired by a poem of Persian poet, philosopher and Sufi, Jalal ud-din Rumi.
